Informed Ambassadors
The Scripps Oceanography Director's Cabinet consists of a select group of advisors who work toward expanding awareness and support of Scripps s research, education, and outreach programs. These informed ambassadors are community, business, and communications leaders who provide counsel, influence, and resources in public relations and funding to benefit the future of Scripps Oceanography's work.

Many thanks to Joseph and Diane Steinberg for graciously hosting a reception in their home in New York. At the event, Scripps Director Tony Haymet was introduced, and Scripps climate scientist Jeff Severinghaus discussed how he studies trapped bubbles of gases contained in ice cores from Greenland to track changes in ancient climate.
