Postdoctoral FellowshipsEarly Career Experience Is PricelessScripps Oceanography s postdoctoral students, or "postdocs," are recently graduated Ph.D. students who wish to acquire additional research experience before beginning their scientific careers in academe or industry. They are trained scientists who play a key role in research, and act as natural connectors between senior scientists and students at Scripps. Postdocs are experienced, productive members of a research team and an invaluable asset to Scripps's research enterprise.
